Journeying through life can be hard. Increasingly, more and more children, young people and adults are suffering with how they are feeling, and it can be really difficult to open up to friends and family. Counselling can help you to explore how you are feeling in a safe environment, confidentially and with no judgement. All people can come into the therapy setting knowing that they can speak in total confidence and be heard.

My heart is to journey with you in whatever you are experiencing, to help and support you through things and to assist in helping you process whatever you feel. I believe that each individual has the right to experience emotional or mental freedom and healing.
I am a qualified Psychotherapist and am registered with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. I have over 8 years of counselling experience and have worked in a variety of settings. I initially started my journey supporting children and adolescents, working within the local authority in both primary and secondary schools for over 4 years, before going on to support children and young people living in the care sector. I continue to do this work in a range of children's care homes and have more recently started supporting both adolescents and adults in the professional sports industry. I use a range of therapeutic methods depending on the needs of the individual. I believe each person is different and therefore focus my work on the individual need. I base my practice on the Person-Centred Approach, also incorporating my training in Emotion Focused Therapy. My passion is to support each individual by journeying with them through their therapy experience, providing a safe, confidential space for them to explore both past and present experiences and emotions, and to assist in finding inner healing.
Before working as a therapist, I worked for 12 years in primary schools, assisting children with additional learning needs. My role was also as an emotional well-being practitioner, working with young people who had behavioural and emotional issues, and those in the care system. As I built my relationships with young people, it gave me an opportunity to develop connections with the family, building relationships with them and working together as a team to support the young person, which is hugely important. I have been able to carry this approach across into the therapy environment.
I also have experience working with the online counselling service.
I have worked in variety of settings:
Hannah has been an integral part of our team for a number of years, providing therapeutic assessments and weekly sessions to our children to help them cope with their trauma and understand the world around them.
I was struggling with past and present emotions due to hardships I found myself going through. I was advised that counselling could help and was pointed in Hannah's direction. Initially I was sceptical about the process but very quickly and found it very easy to relax and open up. With Hannah's help I have learnt to understand myself and my emotions. Not only has she helped me to understand myself and others close to me, I also feel equipped with self care techniques and control when feeling highly stressed or frustrated. Hannah has definitely helped me massively in my day to day life and would recommend her services in an instant.
I cannot recommend Qesta highly enough. Hannah is an outstanding psychotherapist, and her work with our organisation is a fundamental part in our children and staff achieving their outcomes. Her dedication and commitment to helping others are truly inspiring, and we are incredibly grateful to have her as part of our team at Athena Care Group.
Hannah has had a profound impact on my life, both personally and professionally. The way she puts people at ease, coupled with a meaningful and proactive approach to sessions has helped me immensely.
Seeing Hannah has literally saved my life, giving me direction, purpose and greater understanding.
